Job summary

Travelers seeks an Account Executive Officer (AEO), Technology Life Sciences, to partner with agents and brokers validating coverage for new and renewal business. You will be a technical resource, decisive and detail oriented, able to assess complex risk and sell our products in challenging markets.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, 6–8 years underwriting in life sciences, CPCU designation, and strong communication/negotiation skills to navigate regulatory environments and local markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six to eight years of underwriting experience in life sciences.
• Deep knowledge of life sciences insurance products, regulatory environment, and local market.
• Strong critical thinking and timely decision-making in risk, marketing, or financial challenges.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with agents and brokers.
• CPCU designation required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business in Life Sciences.
• Independently assess complex risk and sell Travelers products in challenging markets.
• Build relationships internally and externally to drive results and profitability.
