Job summary

Sargent Lundy is seeking an experienced engineer for the design of underground transmission lines. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, where you'll collaborate with a team and have the flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. Strong bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English are required.

Qualified candidates will possess a BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program and a PE License, along with extensive experience in leading design projects, cost estimation, and underground cable design.

Qualifications

• 12 or more years of experience of leading a design team in the development of complex underground transmission projects.
• Design experience incorporating code requirements and client requirements.
• Experience with XLPE cable design.

Responsibilities

• Design complex underground transmission lines for voltages up to 500kV.
• Direct project teams of engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients for transmission line components.
