You will lead planning, design, construction and delivery of the underground project, coordinating across engineering, operations, contractors and regulators to achieve an operationally ready underground mine on schedule and within budget.

• 15+ years of mining/project experience with 5+ years in a senior underground development/start-up role.
• Proven track record delivering projects from inception through close-out.
• Strong underground mining, project management and project controls experience.
• Experience across project start-up and operating environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Haile Underground project.
• Oversee portal and decline development, underground mine design, infrastructure and project execution.
• Drive safety, schedule, cost, quality and risk performance.
• Lead contractor selection, tendering, contract award and performance management.
• Oversee project budgets, capital expenditure, forecasting and cost optimization.
• Ensure underground development aligns with operational and strategic objectives.
• Build strong relationships with site leadership, operations, contractors and regulators.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing project team.
