OceanaGold seeks a seasoned Manager - Projects Underground Mining & Infrastructure to lead Haile Gold Mine's underground expansion. Qualifications

• 15+ years of mining/project experience, including 5+ years in a senior underground development/start-up role.
• Proven experience delivering projects from inception through close-out.
• Strong underground mining, project management and project controls experience.
• Experience across start-up and operating environments.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, risk management and commercial capability.
• A degree in Engineering or related discipline (Mining, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
• Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency or equivalent is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Haile Underground project.
• Oversee portal and decline development, underground mine design, infrastructure and project execution.
• Drive performance across safety, schedule, cost, quality and risk.
• Lead contractor selection, tendering, contract award and performance management.
• Oversee project budgets, capital expenditure, forecasting and cost optimization.
• Ensure underground development aligns with operational and strategic objectives.
• Build strong relationships with site leadership, operations, contractors, consultants and regulators.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing project team.
