Job summary

OceanaGold’s Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina seeks an experienced Manager – Projects Surface Processing Infrastructure to lead the planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness of major surface processing infrastructure projects.

You will work with internal stakeholders, engineering and construction partners, contractors, suppliers, and operations to deliver infrastructure that supports Haile Gold Mine’s performance and life-of-mine objectives.

Qualifications

• : Must have engineering degree (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical)
• : 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role delivering large projects
• : Demonstrated experience managing projects from inception through construction, commissioning and close-out
• : Strong experience in project risk management and mitigation
• : Experience with surface processing infrastructure project development and project controls
• : Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, timely, and effective delivery of the Paste Plant, Leach Circuit upgrade, and associated surface processing infrastructure projects.
• Develop and oversee Project Execution Plans with clear scope, milestones, deliverables and governance.
• Manage projects through full lifecycle from feasibility through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Lead and coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, vendors, and internal project resources.
