Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation, Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina, seeks an experienced professional to establish and manage underground development for the Ledbetter Underground project. You will coordinate daily contractor activities with LUG management and ensure progress aligns with plans.

The role emphasizes schedule control, budget awareness, and safety leadership to deliver on time and to spec. A strong engineering background and DESWIK.sched/MS Project experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years underground experience preferred.
• Experience with DESWIK.sched and Microsoft Projects.
• Civil or mining construction experience highly regarded.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility, and project focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between contractors and LUG management.
• Maintain master project schedule with as-builts and updates.
• Ensure works meet end-user requirements and standards.
• Support project execution to meet technical, budget, and schedule goals.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
