Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a senior product leader to drive the Utilization Management portfolio in a fast-paced environment. You will shape strategy, roadmap, and value realization, partnering with UM operations and delivery to align with business goals and customer needs.

Lead a team, inform stakeholders, and guide lifecycle management from ideation to launch. The role requires strong leadership, healthcare domain knowledge, and a track record of delivering patient- and provider-facing

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in product management or related fields, preferably in health insurance.
• 5 years in a management or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent.
• Experience shaping product strategy, roadmaps and lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Utilization Management product management teams, setting strategy and roadmap.
• Partner with UM operations and UM delivery to drive strategy and capabilities.
• Define requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to meet customer needs.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Manage backlog, prioritize features, and monitor delivery against timelines and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, marketing and sales.
• Coach and mentor PMs and analysts to build a high-performing team.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare.
