Highmark Health is seeking aSenior Product Manager to lead the Utilization Management product management teams. You will drive strategy, roadmap formulation, and value realization, partnering with UM operations and product delivery to advance the UM agenda.

The role requires deep domain knowledge in health insurance/product management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7 years in product management with strategy, operations, or consulting in health care.
• 5 years in management or leadership roles.
• Experience in health insurance or health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead UM product management teams including strategy, roadmap and value realization.
• Define product vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Socialize roadmap with stakeholders and obtain buy-in across the organization.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap aligned with market trends and goals.
• Identify stakeholders and foster collaboration to influence product strategy.
• Lead product development from ideation to launch with cross-functional teams.
• Define requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage backlog, prioritize features, and track progress against budgets and timelines.
• Conduct user testing to improve usability and performance.
• Monitor product performance metrics and identify improvement areas.
• Develop strategies for product optimization, growth and expansion.
• Lifecycle management from launch to sunset with cross-functional engagement.
• Build and mentor a high-performing product team.
• Communicate vision and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends and regulations.
