Job summary

Highmark Health seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead the Utilization Management product management teams, shaping strategy, roadmap formulation, and value realization. The role partners with UM operations and UM product delivery to drive the UM strategy and meet evolving customer, provider, and employee needs.

You will define requirements, manage backlogs, and oversee lifecycle management from ideation to sunset, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, strategy, or related roles within healthcare
• 5+ years in a management or leadership role
• UM experience in payer/provider/health tech is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the product management teams for Utilization Management including strategy, roadmap, and value realization
• Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Manage product backlog, prioritize features, and track progress against timelines and budgets
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to improve usability and performance
• Monitor product performance metrics and drive optimization and expansion
• Lead teams through complex organizational or strategic changes with clear communication
