Job summary
CGS is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our Information Technology team, supporting a wide-ranging initiative for a large Federal agency. You will lead design across multiple sites and applications, guiding research, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI deliverables.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, a strong portfolio, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust. You will mentor junior designers and collaborate with federal engineers to deliver accessible, USWDS-compliant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required and ability to obtain Public Trust.
- 10+ years combined professional design experience (UCD, UI/UX).
- Strong portfolio showing research-driven web and mobile design.
- Experience designing accessible web interfaces (508 and USWDS).
- Experience mentoring junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-scale UX design efforts including research and blueprinting.
- Plan, design, and implement multiple sites and applications for multiple clients.
- Lead all phases of user research to inform usable interfaces.
- Collaborate with federal engineers and clients to deliver intuitive solutions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps for websites and apps.
- Develop scalable design resources to aid collaboration.
