Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead end-to-end UX design efforts for a broad federal initiative. You will conduct user research, create wireframes and site maps, and collaborate with engineers and federal clients to deliver accessible, responsive interfaces across multiple platforms.

The role requires 10+ years of design experience, a strong portfolio, and ability to mentor junior designers while delivering compliant, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
• Strong UX design experience with 10+ years combined design experience (UCD, UI/UX).
• Portfolio showing research-driven decisions for web/mobile.
• Experience with 508/USWDS compliance.
• Ability to mentor junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scale UX design efforts including research, blueprinting, and evaluation of existing systems.
• Plan, design, and implement multiple sites and applications for multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead all phases of user research to inform usable web pages and app interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers and clients to design innovative, intuitive solutions for federal stakeholders.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to communicate ideas.
• Develop scalable design resources to aid collaboration and expand design services.
