Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II (UH-60 Technical Inspector) to inspect and supervise repairs and modifications on UH-60 aircrafts. The role requires deep knowledge of airframe and powerplant systems and involves maintenance tests, safety compliance, and leading small teams.

Applicants must have a FAA A&P license, IA, and five years of relevant maintenance experience, along with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.

Qualifications

• Must have five years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience.
• Must possess a FAA A&P license.
• Must hold a FAA IA.
• Must have Security Clearance applicable to work.
• Broad knowledge of aircraft maintenance, inspection techniques and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, and supervises aircraft technical inspections.
• Inspects and evaluates repairs and modifications to aircraft structures and engines.
• Inspects maintenance of components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
• Applies knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine malfunctions.
• Participates in maintenance test flights and operation checks.
• Lead small groups and provide oversight to program leadership.
