Job summary

Amentum seeks an UH60 Aircraft Technical Inspector to ensure airworthiness and adherence to specifications before operations. You will inspect repairs, modifications, and components of UH60 aircraft and provide guidance to technicians during maintenance actions.

The role requires deep knowledge of aircraft systems, strong record-keeping, and ability to work across teams to meet flight schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent aircraft maintenance experience.
• One (1) year experience inspecting UH60 MDS.
• Valid FAA A&P license; IA preferred or five years as UH60 inspector if IA absent.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and supervise aircraft technical inspections.
• Develop and implement quality control and ground safety programs.
• Briefs and debriefs pilots and crew on functional check flights.
• Maintain records and logs; prepare evaluations and reports.
• Ensure compliance with configuration control and aircraft maintenance procedures.
