Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60) in Washington to perform maintenance on helicopters according to manuals and safety procedures. Responsibilities include removing/installing subsystems, servicing, preparing for inspections, and assisting with troubleshooting.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired; certification of education level is required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must provide own tools/toolbox; Recruiters will provide toolbox requirements to candidates upon selection.

Aufgaben

• Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies (engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, flight controls).
• Services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Perform scheduled inspections and assist in special inspections.
• Perform limited maintenance checks and assist in diagnosing aircraft subsystems.
• Operate and maintain tools and ground support equipment.
• Prepare forms/records related to aircraft maintenance.
• Remove and disassemble defective parts.
• Maintain supplies and perform preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
