Job summary

Red Cat Holdings is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own multiple subsystems from concept to production in UAV applications. You will work with mechanical and firmware teams to maximize first-pass success and ensure EMI/EMC compliance.

A strong background in HDI PCB design, Altium, and test automation is essential. You will lead design reviews, guide sustaining engineering, and coordinate with manufacturing to develop production tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 9+ years of design ownership from concept to production across multi-subsystems.
• Strong PCB manufacturing knowledge and HDI PCB technologies.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer and SPICE-based tools.
• Experience with EMC/EMI, DFT/DFM.
• Excellent report writing and vendor communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary engineer for multiple subsystems or single subsystems across concurrent projects.
• Design subsystems for inclusion in larger designs.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate across teams.
• Drive EMI/EMC testing and EVT/DVT execution; write reports.
• Troubleshoot EVT, DVT, and field issues; guide sustaining engineering.
• Maintain an accurate BOM in PLM and coordinate with manufacturing test engineers.
• Estimate effort and duration for tasks to help schedule.
