Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, Colorado is seeking a Lead Test Operator to support the assembly and testing of small turbine engines. You will apply instrumentation, install engines into a test cell, run test sequences, and prepare for the next production stage, collaborating with engineering, supply chain and EHS daily.

This role features a three-day workweek with three 12-hour shifts (Friday through Sunday) and requires at least 4 years in mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of testing processes and Lean manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, connect, and execute a pre-programmed series of test steps.
• Operate hand and power tools and pneumatic equipment per instructions.
• Occasionally read blueprints/schematics to guide actions.
• Maintain safety and EHS compliance daily and support improvement initiatives.
• Install instrumentation such as thermocouples, transducers, strain gauges, accelerometers.
• Perform routine maintenance on prescribed equipment.
• Document issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Capture accurate timekeeping for each task daily.
• Travel to Cincinnati, OH or Knoxville, TN locations as needed.
