Job summary

Beehive Industries, LLC is seeking a Lead Test Operator at our Centennial, Colorado facility to support assembly and testing of new small turbine engines in a high-rate production environment.

You will apply instrumentation, install engines into a test cell, run test sequences, and coordinate with engineering, supply chain, EHS, and other teams. The position follows a three-day workweek with three 12-hour shifts, Fri-Sun, with occasional travel to Cincinnati, OH or Knoxville, TN.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience with 2 years of Mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing experience.
• Strong understanding of testing processes, Standard Work Instruction adherence, hand-tool utilization, and Lean manufacturing.
• Passion for working in advanced technological environments and delivering results.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Positive mindset under stress with constructive interpersonal interactions.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and task execution skills.
• High initiative and quick learning from instructions and hands-on work.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, connect, and execute a pre-programmed series of test steps.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment per instructions.
• Read blueprints/schematics to guide actions.
• Follow EHS policies and participate in hazard identification and remediation.
• Wear prescribed PPE daily per site requirements.
• Install instrumentation (thermocouples, transducers, strain gauges, accelerometers).
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure availability.
• Assist with test procedure creation and troubleshooting.
• Document data and progress using required software.
• There could be travel to Cincinnati, OH or Knoxville, TN locations as needed.
