Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, Colorado, is seeking a Lead Test Operator to support the assembly and testing of newly built small turbine engines. This role may operate in a development environment but will primarily support high-rate production activities, applying instrumentation, installing engines into a test cell, and preparing for the next stage.

You will partner with engineering, supply chain, EHS and other functions daily to deliver high-quality products, follow standard work

Qualifications

• 4+ years in mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing in regulated industries
• Strong understanding of testing processes and Standard Work Instructions
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and connect a pre-programmed series of test steps
• Operate hand and power tools per standard instructions
• Read blueprints/schematics to guide actions
• Maintain safety and comply with EHS policies daily
• Wear prescribed PPE and follow site requirements
• Install instrumentation (thermocouples, transducers, etc.)
• Perform maintenance on equipment to ensure availability
• Support creating/updating test procedures and troubleshooting
• Use measuring equipment to verify design conformance
• Document progress with software and record keeping
• Communicate issues and drive corrective actions
• Capture accurate timekeeping daily
• Work from a standing position and lift up to 35 pounds
• Travel to other locations as needed
