Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, Colorado, is seeking a Lead Test Operator to support assembly and testing of small turbine engines in a high-rate production setting.

The role involves applying instrumentation, installing engines into test cells, and guiding test sequences while collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and EHS. A minimum of 4 years in mechanical/electrical assembly testing is required, along with the ability to obtain an active U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing experience in a highly regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of testing processes, standard work instruction adherence, hand-tool utilization, and Lean manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, connect, and execute a pre-programmed series of test steps according to instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment safely during tests.
• Read blueprints/schematics to guide actions and verify content.
• Maintain EHS compliance and participate in hazard identification and remediation.
• Wear PPE as required and follow site rules.
• Install and service instrumentation (thermocouples, transducers, gauges, accelerometers).
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; support test procedure improvements.
• Document data accurately and track progress using prescribed software.
