Job summary

Brown-Forman is seeking an experienced compliance/audit professional to maintain Federal Excise Tax (FET) compliance for its Louisville-based facilities, including the Jack Daniel’s Bottling and Old Forester Distilling operations. The role focuses on interpreting TTB regulations, filing monthly reports, and supporting amendments to registrations for Kentucky operations.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree plus 5+ years in regulatory compliance or audit, strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years in compliance/audit
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to lead and organize multiple projects with attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly MNBP tax claims and TTB export drawback submissions
• Review monthly tax payments and assist with amendments to TTB registrations
• Conduct monthly internal TTB audits to ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist management with TTB reports and regulatory filings
• Coordinate with engineering to update process diagrams and security profiles
• Develop variances to TTB regulations and notify the TTB of inventory counts
