Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support its Cyber Mission unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with poly and extensive SE experience, leveraging Agile and DevOps to deliver high-quality systems. Telework is possible based on tasking and approvals.

The candidate will analyze needs, draft CONOPS, develop requirements, and guide design, verification, and risk management across the system life cycle.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph is required.
• 14 years of SE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with substitution option.
• Experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Ability to implement comprehensive SOA solutions.
• Ability to conduct end-to-end system trade analyses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze users' needs, draft CONOPS and develop system requirements.
• Participate in design and development activities and guide users.
• Plan and conduct system verification activities.
• Interact with Government stakeholders on technical considerations, risks, and conflicts.
• Define interfaces for software with clear data characteristics.
