Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly for Fort Meade, MD. The role focuses on leading complex system engineering efforts for national security programs, translating requirements into actionable designs, and providing technical leadership across government interfaces.

Qualifications

• Twenty years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, engineering management, or related discipline; or five additional years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, CONOPS, and architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead system design and development activities from requirements to implementation.
• Guide users to define and refine requirements, advise on alternatives, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership in integration of requirements, design, and emerging technologies.
• Incorporate new designs into ongoing operations while ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including system architecture and design docs.
• Guide SEMPs, system integration plans, and test plans through to execution.
• Interface with Government on SE considerations, issues, and conflicts.
• Maintain responsibility for technical integrity, quality, and deliverables in SE area.
• Collaborate with program personnel and stakeholders to communicate status, risks, and solutions.
