Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support analysis, design, integration, and implementation of complex systems for government programs. You will translate operational needs into detailed system requirements and architectures, collaborating with users and technical teams.

You will lead SE activities across the lifecycle, refine requirements with stakeholders, and develop documentation, plans, and tests.

Qualifications

20+ years of Systems Engineering experience
Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph
Experience translating needs into clear technical requirements for software teams
Experience with Agile methodologies and requirements management

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements, CONOPS, and architectures to develop detailed system requirements specifications
Lead systems engineering, design, development, and integration across the lifecycle
Collaborate with users and stakeholders to define requirements and evaluate approaches
Provide technical leadership across integration of requirements, design, and emerging technologies
Develop and maintain system architecture and engineering documentation
Support SEMPs, system integration plans, and test plans
Integrate new capabilities into existing environments
Interface with Government stakeholders on SE matters
Ensure quality and completeness of SE deliverables
Identify and resolve technical issues across teams
Communicate progress to program personnel and executives
