Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for its Cyber Mission unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will analyze user needs, draft CONOPS, and develop system requirements with a focus on reliable delivery using Agile and DevOps practices.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with poly, 14+ years of SE experience, and a strong track record in life-cycle system design and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph required.
• 14+ years of Systems Engineering experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in system engineering, computer science, information systems, or related discipline; 5 years may substitute for degree.
• Proven ability to plan and lead SE efforts and perform system trade analyses.
• Ability to define interfaces and life-cycle considerations for hardware and software.
• Knowledge of current standards applicable to system development and integration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs, draft CONOPS, and develop system requirements and specs.
• Plan system verification activities and feasibility studies.
• Guide system development and integration planning; interact with government stakeholders.
• Provide technical direction for the full systems engineering life cycle.
• Lead agile Scrum activities and DevOps-related implementation efforts.
• Communicate effectively with users, stakeholders, and program leadership.
