Job summary

HOLT Group in Temple, TX, is seeking a Senior HTT Truck Service Technician 3 to diagnose, repair, recondition, and adjust engine systems and related equipment on trucks and trailers. This senior-level role expects more than six years of experience and broad knowledge of the field’s concepts and procedures.

You will mentor lower-level technicians, document service reports, and collaborate with internal and external resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school accreditation preferred
• Minimum of three years of experience
• CDL – Class A or B required
• ASE – Medium/Heavy Truck Certification four or more preferred
• AC Certification Required
• Brake System Certification Required
• Has met Holt’s VBL Culture expectations
• On-going Safety Training required

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex engine malfunctions with direction and minimal supervision
• Performs detailed engine and related equipment repairs on trucks and trailers with direction and minimal supervision
• Disassembles, inspects, determines parts required, and reassembles to factory specifications within TRGs
• Provides QC/QA inspections and road testing of completed tasks
• Completes service reports, timecards, and parts requisitions
• Maintains tools and equipment in good working order
• Mentors lower-level technicians and collaborates with internal/external resources
