Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking a senior technician to diagnose, repair, recondition, and adjust key systems on trucks and related equipment with minimal supervision. This role requires extensive experience, the ability to mentor others, and adherence to Holt's Values Based Leadership in daily work.

Expect to work onsite in Temple, TX, with up to 5% travel and a CDL. The incumbent will document service reports, use diagnostic software, and ensure quality control.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; CDL required; ASE preferred.
• Technical certifications: AC and Brake System certs.
• Demonstrated experience with diesel engines and heavy trucks.
• Ability to read manuals and use diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, recondition, and adjust major systems in trucks and equipment.
• Lead and mentor lower-level technicians; model Holt's VBL culture.
• Communicate progress to supervisor and customers; maintain safety standards.
