Job summary

HOLT Truck Centers is seeking a Senior Truck Service Technician 3 for HTT - Houston Hempstead. You will diagnose, repair, and recondition trucks and related equipment, with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes high-quality work, safety, and mentoring junior technicians.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, CDL Class A/B, and ASE/AC/Brake certifications preferred. Expect to work at HTT Houston Hempstead with occasional travel and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Senior-level technician with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Diagnose, repair, recondition, and adjust truck systems and components.
• Demonstrate knowledge across engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain safety, documentation, and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex engine malfunctions with minimal supervision.
• Perform engine and related equipment repairs to factory specs.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble parts per service bulletin/TRG.
• Provide road tests and quality control inspections of completed tasks.
• Document service reports, timecards, parts requisition, and returns.
• Interpret manuals and online resources to guide repairs.
• Mentor lower level technicians and participate in training.
