Job summary

HOLT Group’s HTT - Austin South location is seeking a Level 3 Diesel Technician to perform advanced engine repairs, diagnostics, and related tasks with limited supervision. This senior role requires broad knowledge of heavy truck systems and commitment to safety and quality.

The technician will mentor junior technicians, document service reports, and maintain tools and equipment while adhering to HOLT's Values Based Leadership culture and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program.
• Minimum of four years of experience.
• Completion of Levels 1 & 2 curriculum pathway requirements.
• ProTech training requirements met; ability to learn and model HOLT's VBL Culture.
• Ongoing safety training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex engine malfunctions and failures with direction and minimum supervision.
• Performs detailed engine and related equipment repairs on trucks and trailers with direction and minimum supervision.
• Disassembles, inspects, determines parts required, and reassembles to factory specifications within TRGs.
• Provides quality control/assurance inspections of completed tasks including road testing.
• Completes documentation for service reports, timecards, parts requisition and returns.
