Job summary

HOLT Truck Centers in Houston Hempstead is seeking a senior truck technician to diagnose, repair, recondition, and adjust key truck systems and related equipment. This role requires extensive hands-on expertise and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

You will disassemble, inspect, source parts, reassemble to factory specs, perform road tests, document service reports, and mentor junior technicians while upholding HOLT's Values Based Leadership and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL – Class A or B required.
• ASE – Medium/Heavy Truck Certification preferred.
• AC Certification required.
• Brake System Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and adjusts engine and related systems.
• Disassembles, inspects, and reassembles parts to factory specifications.
• Performs quality control inspections and road tests.
• Documents service reports, timecards, and parts requisitions.
• Mentors and coaches lower level technicians.
• Adheres to safety policies and company standards.
