Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a project team on a large-scale or multiple smaller projects from a central point of contact. You will drive status updates, coordinate with leadership, and ensure project scope remains on track.

You will manage budgets and change orders, mentor staff, and present proposals to clients, leveraging strong communication, CADD/ERP skills and MS Office expertise to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering or applicable experience.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience managing large complex projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of staff, clients and contractors.
• Strong ability to present proposals and conduct effective client talks.

Responsibilities

• Manage a project team for a large complex project or multiple smaller projects.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with status updates to clients and leadership.
• Develop and implement project strategies with management.
• Oversee budget reports, cost and revenue projections, and change orders.
