Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced MEP Lead for a full‑time traveling assignment across our Critical Facilities-Data Centers division. The role supports our Advanced Technology projects, including data centers and related sectors, traveling 100% to project sites.

You will lead field activities for mechanical and electrical systems, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, develop schedules, approve subcontractor payments, and drive turnover through startup, testing, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at least four years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience coordinating MEP activities on complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate field activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
Develop schedules for engineering, coordination, installation, start‑up, testing, and turnover.
Monitor progress and benchmark against the project schedule.
Evaluate subcontractor payment requisitions with understanding of remaining work.
Mentor and lead the MEP team.
Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to resolve MEP issues.
Preplan field activities to ensure readiness.
Co‑lead turnover, start‑up, testing, commissioning, and closeout with the MEP Engineer.
Identify and address difficult installation requirements in time.
Develop and implement the quality control plan with the MEP Engineer.
