Job summary

Stantec is seeking a transportation Structural Engineer with 10+ years of experience in design of highway, transit and rail bridges. Location options in California include Roseville, Fresno, San Francisco, Walnut Creek and LA. Role is full-time, with part-time consideration.

Responsibilities include design calculations, project drawings, and coordination with clients and teams. California PE and knowledge of AASHTO, Caltrans, AREMA and CBC are valued assets.

Qualifications

• 10 years of structural design experience for bridges and infrastructure in California.
• Caltrans standards experience and high-speed rail projects are a plus.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
• Proficient in steel, masonry, timber and concrete design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and details for transportation projects.
• Design new structures and rehabilitate existing structures.
• Review shop drawings and calculations; coordinate with design team; address site issues.
• Assist with client coordination and project deliverables with public/private clients.
• Collaborate with structural staff to complete projects.
