The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, PE licensure, 5+ years in transportation structural design, and experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD. A collaborative, hybrid work environment is offered with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• 5+ years in structural design of transportation structures
• Experience with bridges, culverts, and walls
• Ability to lead and mentor junior staff
• Experience with DOT projects is preferred
• Proficient with MicroStation or AutoCAD
• Strong MS Office skills
• Excellent collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Design transportation structures including bridges, culverts, and walls
• Assist senior design staff in structural design, drafting and review
• Collaborate with structures group, other disciplines, and clients
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Develop engineers cost estimates
• Guide junior staff with direction and feedback
