Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of bridge design and structural engineering experience.
• Active PE license required.
• Experience with bridge design, analysis, and rehabilitation projects.
• Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and applicable design standards.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenBridge, or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze bridges and other transportation-related structures.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Manage bridge projects through planning, design, and construction phases.
• Perform structural inspections and condition assessments of existing bridges.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, technicians, clients, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
