Job summary

HMB Professional Engineers, LLC is seeking a Structures Project Manager in Frankfort, KY. You will lead the planning, design, and execution of structural projects, primarily in transportation, while managing scope, schedule, and budget.

You will serve as the main client contact and mentor a team of engineers and drafters. The role requires a PE/SE license and 15+ years of structural engineering and PM experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires PE or SE license.
• 15+ years of structural engineering and project management experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with multi-state projects is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise in structural analysis and materials selection.
• Oversee and mentor engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, review, and approve project documentation and specifications.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical challenges.
• Support business development, including proposals and client presentations.
• Provide clients with technical support on transportation structures.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for assigned projects.
