Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 5+ years of experience in structural design of transportation structures (bridges, culverts, walls).
• Experience with design of transportation structures including bridges, culverts, and walls.
• Project or client management experience is preferred.
• Ability to guide junior staff and participate in design and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Design transportation structures including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and timber elements.
• Assist senior design staff in structural design, drafting & review.
• Collaborate with structures group, other disciplines, and clients to complete projects.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and codes.
• Develop engineers cost estimates.
• Guide junior staff by providing direction and constructive feedback.
