Job summary

The role demands a 10+ year track record, leading project teams, delivering comprehensive end products, and maintaining client relationships. Illinois PE preferred with strong BC/BD capabilities and field-site travel.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and vendors, developing engineering solutions, and tracking projects for schedule and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of transportation project management experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (Illinois).
• Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs.
• Interact with clients, vendors and staff at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of highway design packages such as OpenRoads, Geopak or Civil3D.
• Strong analytical thinking and engineering calculations.
• Prepare and write engineering reports and responses to solicitations.
• Willingness to travel to field sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and lead project teams to deliver a thorough end product.
• Develop engineering solutions and perform transportation analyses and calculations.
• Prepare reports and coordinate responses to project solicitations.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships and pursue Illinois region business.
• Coordinate field visits on rough terrain as project needs require.
• Track multiple projects to keep on schedule and within budget.
