Qualifications

• Licensed professional engineer in Illinois
• Experience leading, managing and scheduling staff to meet project needs
• Ability to track multiple projects simultaneously to keep jobs on schedule and under budget
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using CAD platforms (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of highway design packages (OpenRoads, Geopak, or Civil3D)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Prepare and write engineering reports and respond to project solicitations
• Develop relationships with clients and grow business in Illinois
• Willingness to travel to job sites

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transportation projects and project teams
• Coordinate client communication and maintain strong client relationships
• Develop engineering solutions and ensure thorough end products
• Track budgets, schedules and ensure projects stay on time and within budget
• Prepare engineering reports and respond to solicitations
• Coordinate field visits to project sites as required
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to meet project needs

• Maintain driving to site locations as needed
