French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Camden, NJ seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead our Highway & Traffic Department in Camden and Wall, NJ. You will oversee roadway, bridge, and transportation improvement projects, manage schedules and budgets, and maintain direct client relationships while guiding engineering staff toward successful delivery.

You will work with regional management on proposals and business development, ensuring compliance with design standards and delivering

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey required.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation design software.
• Experience in management and design of roadway, traffic, and/or bridge improvement projects (NJDOT or PennDOT experience a plus).
• Well versed in local and national design standards.
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles is a plus.
• Willingness to represent FPA at professional societies and technical seminars.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop design documents for transportation improvements using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
• Provide construction support services as needed.
• Complete assignments independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with staff within the transportation group and across disciplines on larger projects.
• Delegate tasks to staff engineers and oversee their work.
• Monitor project schedule, budget, and staffing needs.
• Maintain client contact and communications.
• Work with management on proposals and business development as needed.
