Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Camden, NJ seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead Highway & Traffic design and delivery. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and teams while maintaining direct client relationships and ensuring compliance with design standards.

The ideal candidate has a NJ PE, 7+ years of roadway/bridge project experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Jersey required.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation design software.
• Experience in management and design of roadway, traffic, and/or bridge improvement projects (NJDOT or PennDOT experience a plus).
• Highly motivated and eager to work on a diverse range of transportation improvement projects for local, county, and state agencies.
• Well versed in local and national design standards.
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles is a plus.
• Willingness to represent FPA at professional societies and technical seminars.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop design documents for a variety of transportation improvements projects utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation Software.
• Provide construction support services as needed.
• Complete assignments independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with staff within the transportation group and across various other disciplines on larger projects.
• Delegate tasks to staff engineers and oversee their work.
• Monitoring of the project schedule, budget, and staffing needs.
• Actively participate in client contact and communications.
• Work with Regional and Department management on proposals and business development as needed.
