Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Mount Laurel, NJ seeks an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure for public and private clients.

You will manage projects from concept through construction, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with NJDOT standards while building strong client relationships. PE licensed in NJ preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of transportation engineering and project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey.
• Experience managing roadway, highway, complete streets, intersection, traffic, or transportation improvement projects.
• Familiarity with NJDOT design standards, permitting, and project delivery processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation design projects from proposal through final delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders, including NJDOT, county, and local municipalities.
• Prepare project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future work.
• Support proposal development, business development, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
