Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd seeks an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects across New Jersey, with a focus on planning, design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate has 8–20+ years in transportation engineering and proven ability to manage client relationships, budgets, schedules and multidisciplinary teams, including coordination with NJDOT, NJTA and NYSDOT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• 8–20+ years of transportation engineering and project management experience.
• NJ PE is required; NY PE preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation projects from planning through construction.
• Serve as main point of contact for clients, agencies, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, surveyors, and consultants.
• Oversee preparation and review of roadway, bridge, drainage, traffic, and infrastructure plans.
• Coordinate with NJDOT, NJTA, NYSDOT and other agencies.
• Manage permitting, agency reviews, and responses to technical comments.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure quality control of deliverables.
• Support proposals, presentations, client development, and new pursuits.
