Job summary

STV is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major transportation infrastructure projects for NJDOT. The role requires a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey and a proven history of managing complex transportation projects through planning, design, construction and closeout.

The candidate will oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure project performance, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• PE license in New Jersey is required or clearly stated as a prerequisite.
• 15+ years of progressive transportation engineering and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead large transportation projects from Preliminary Engineering through Construction Completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk for successful delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, and technical specialists.
• Oversee design documents, reports, and project submissions for NJDOT projects.
• Serve as main client and stakeholder contact throughout the project lifecycle.
