Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Transportation group in Florida, guiding a team across Lake Mary, Orlando, Coral Gables, Miami and Jacksonville. The role supervises staff, assigns tasks, and maintains project schedules to deliver complex transportation projects.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in transportation engineering and project management, with strong client communication skills and a solid understanding of FDOT processes and design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed in the State of Florida.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering and project management transportation experience.
• Experience communicating with clients and reviewing agencies.
• Thorough understanding of project document production and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to impact communities positively.
• Lead pursuing contracts for engineering and consulting services.
• Increase company profile in transportation through professional organizations.
• Plan and execute operations and business development strategies.
• Supervise transportation professionals and ensure quality project delivery.
• Review designs for conformance with state and local standards.
