Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager, PD&E to lead planning and development of transportation infrastructure across Florida, including major arterials, highways, and transit projects. You will supervise a team, coordinate schedules, and work with leadership to drive successful PD&E studies.

The role offers flexibility in locations throughout Florida (Orlando, Lake Mary, Coral Gables, Jacksonville) and emphasizes collaboration, growth, and delivering high-quality transportation solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering highway/roadway transportation planning and/or design experience.
• Proven experience managing all aspects of roadway infrastructure development including PD&E studies.
• Experience in successful project pursuits including client engagement and proposals.
• Thorough understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop technical discipline teams and act as PM or task leader on transportation PD&E projects.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and coordinate project pursuits.
• Serve as a senior technical lead for concepts, reports, and studies.
• Build strong client relationships to grow projects and develop team members.
• Develop value-added solutions and lead contract pursuits for engineering services.
• Increase the firm’s profile within the transportation industry through professional involvement.
• Plan, execute strategy for operations and business development.
• Plan, organize, and supervise work of transportation professionals.
• Negotiate, monitor, and deliver quality projects and consulting services.
• Review designs for conformance with state/local agency standards.
