Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of transportation projects across the firm. You will collaborate with engineers and PMs on Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3 and other delivery types, preparing roadway design plans with ORD and contributing to reports, modeling, and plan production.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 8+ years of transportation experience, a VA PE license (or eligible within 6 months), and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of transportation infrastructure design experience.
• Active PE license in VA or eligibility within 6 months.
• Proficient in ORD for roadway design and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support technical design on transportation projects (highways, interchanges, tollways, transit corridors).
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across offices.
• Mentor junior engineers and support career development.
• Ensure QC and compliance with standards and client requirements.
