The role targets a CA-licensed P.E. with 5+ years of experience, strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills, and proficiency in project management tools, with opportunities for professional growth and cross-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in transportation infrastructure design and delivery.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT required; PE licensure preferred.
• Strong roadway design background, staged construction knowledge.
• Familiar with Caltrans standards and public agency coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of transportation projects including roadways and multimodal corridors.
• Organize workflows, set design criteria, and delegate tasks to junior staff.
• Decide on project elements and consult with senior leadership on complex issues.
• Prepare reports, feasibility studies, and environmental documents.
• Develop grading, drainage, and stormwater plans; review construction specs.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates; support QA/QC.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate sub-consultants; attend client meetings.
