BKF Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Engineer based in San Jose to lead transportation design projects. Hybrid or remote work from Redwood City or Pleasanton may be considered for the right candidate. California-licensed P.E. with 5+ years of experience preferred.

You will collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver publicly funded roadway and multimodal projects, supporting planning, design, and construction phases, while mentoring staff across offices.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification required, PE licensure preferred.
• 5+ years of transportation infrastructure design experience.

• Lead technical design and delivery of transportation projects (roadways, highways, multimodal corridors).
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate the work across teams.
• Prepare technical reports, environmental documentation, and cost estimates.
