Fehr & Peers seeks an experienced transportation planning/engineering consultant (8-12 years) to grow our Central Florida presence in Orlando. The role blends project leadership with business development, and includes mentoring staff and expanding relationships with public agencies and private clients.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of transportation planning or engineering consulting experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative leadership style with mentoring and staff development.
• Established relationships with Florida State and local agencies, institutions, developers, and private-sector organizations; deep Central Florida market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation planning and engineering projects from pursuit through delivery, serving as main client and team contact.
• Manage projects in areas such as corridor studies, traffic operations analyses, multimodal plans, PS&E preparation, and complete streets.
• Engage with the public and stakeholders through community engagement.
• Build relationships with public agencies, clients, developers, and partners to grow Fehr & Peers' presence in Central Florida.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to proposals and interviews.
• Mentor staff and foster high-performing project teams to support office growth.
