Job summary
Walmart seeks an Assistant General Manager, Transportation in Saint James, MO to lead transportation operations within a large distribution network. This role drives safe, compliant, and cost-efficient freight movement while delivering exceptional service to stores, clubs, customers, and partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years in senior roles within operations.
- Experience leading transportation, logistics, supply chain, distribution, or fleet operations.
- Experience managing leaders and associates in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using operational and financial metrics to drive performance.
- Experience managing safety, compliance, and workforce initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop transportation teams to ensure on-time delivery and objective execution.
- Drive fleet readiness, maintenance coordination, and asset productivity.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities and improve service levels and costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network priorities.
- Promote safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
